How to Measure you Head Size.

To determine your hat size, follow these 4 simple steps:

Step 1.

Using either a soft tape measure or a piece of string – Measure the circumference around your head.

Step 2.

The tape should be level, in the centre of your forehead and just above the top of your ears. It is useful to have someone assist in holding the tape which should be adjusted to a comfortable fit and the measurement taken.

Step 3.

Then check our size chart above to determine your size.

Step 4.

If your size falls between two sizes, choose the next size up. You can always attach foam fillers (available for sale) to ensure a snug fit.

Excellent ,helpful service from HatsBT100.Ordered an Akubra Stony Creek from the UK and despite all the lockdowns Internationlly received it on time. Used the sizing chart, also excellent, now I have a perfect fitting hat ,so much so that within 10 mins of its arrival I was wearing it out in 50 mph wind and rain. Akubra say their felt hats are “shower proof” but in 25 yrs of wearing one I’ve never known rain get through (in the uk). Thank you HatsBT100,, hopefully one day I can get to your store in person. T.M

Ideal transaction & great hat

My Akubra Stony Creek was shipped the day the order was received. Nicely packaged & protected. Great service. Postal delays made it a slow trip (2 months from order to delivery) to the USA but that has nothing to do with Akubra or the store. This is my third Akubra and it's all I'd expect but it's just a bit snug. It doesn't fit quite like the others. This size 59 is more like 58 1/2. It'll stretch with wear as they all do so I'm very happy overall.
