How to Measure you Head Size.

To determine your hat size, follow these 4 simple steps:

Step 1.

Using either a soft tape measure or a piece of string – Measure the circumference around your head.

Step 2.

The tape should be level, in the centre of your forehead and just above the top of your ears. It is useful to have someone assist in holding the tape which should be adjusted to a comfortable fit and the measurement taken.

Step 3.

Then check our size chart above to determine your size.

Step 4.

If your size falls between two sizes, choose the next size up. You can always attach foam fillers (available for sale) to ensure a snug fit.

Tilley hat size

Hat arrived fast, but the sizing is not Accurate, I have been a 7 1/4 all my adult life, returns are expensive to Australia, Order the next size larger

My experience with the store was very good. Unfortunately the TH5 Hemp hat was not true to size and was returned with a refund without any difficulties. I will buy again. The "it" in the initial question can be misinterpreted - does it men the hat or the store?

Would rather buy Tilley Orbit T054 - Natural

My preference would have been Tilley Orbit T504 - Natural. Pitty it is not available. It is advertised as coming back soon but was told by one of your employee that it is discontinued.

I have loved Tilley hats ever since I can remember, however since I've come to Australia (from Canada) I couldn't find a stockist that had more than one or two styles, well until now that is!
