How to Measure you Head Size.

To determine your hat size, follow these 4 simple steps:

Step 1.

Using either a soft tape measure or a piece of string – Measure the circumference around your head.

Step 2.

The tape should be level, in the centre of your forehead and just above the top of your ears. It is useful to have someone assist in holding the tape which should be adjusted to a comfortable fit and the measurement taken.

Step 3.

Then check our size chart above to determine your size.

Step 4.

If your size falls between two sizes, choose the next size up. You can always attach foam fillers (available for sale) to ensure a snug fit.

A Fantastic Hat

I now have 4 Jacaru hat's. The first one I purchased about 4 or 5 years ago, it was a kangaroo skin drivers cap. It still looks great the roo leather is soft and supple, but one of the really fantastic things about it is that it's very practical. The large peak does a great job when your driving into the sun, you can really come to understand why that style of cap was made so many years ago . On the strength of that hat I thought when I needed to replace some of my bush (western style) hats I'd give Jacaru a go. I purchased three leather Wallaroo's, black, sand and an oil skin. All are very well made, very comfortable and look like with reasonable care they will last a long time. As a bit of a bonus they are dressy and look pretty flash, but I'm sure over the years they will develop a bit of a more lived in character look. The fit is perfect and they feel light on your head and seem to breath very well for the style of hat they are. Great to see an Aussie company making fantastic world class products.
